Bandy (Custom Home Addition and Renovation): This project located in Davidsonville, Maryland was broken into phases due to its size and complexity. The first phase added a new three car garage with habitable space above. The next two phases added over 5,000sf to the existing residence. Designed in association with Smiley's Residential Design Service, LLC

The remainder of the project was to include a complete renovation of the existing 3,500 square foot dwelling and the addition of approximately 5,300 square feet of new living space. Shown here is the beginning of the next phase of the project.

Other design elements included were on the main floor the Kitchen was completely re-designed and additional living space was added to include a project room, powder room, and a 20'x30' Family Room with 10' high ceilings to include floor to ceiling windows throughout. The Family Room is cantilevered out over the floor below by almost 15' to give the impression of floating over the ravine 30' below. The design includes lots of windows to take in the secluded wooded views. Upgrades include a new Geo-Thermal heating system with radiant floor heating throughout, new Hardi-plank siding, Cedar and stone facades are used on the exteriors and "rubberized" Slate style roofing.
